Many advantages for mountain bikers and cyclists
The small town of Bressanone at the foot of the local mountain Plose is very popular with all those who like to go on vacation by bike. Whether pleasure cyclists, mountain bikers or downhillers – here there are routes for all demands and levels of difficulty.
On the Plose there is a specially created bike park with 4 lines in all difficulty levels from green (very easy) to black (expert). Also for touring cyclists Bressanone is an interesting starting point or an advantageously located stopover.

Here bikers are spoiled for choice:
- Brixen Bikepark on the Plose, open from the end of May to the end of October
- Valley bike trails, for example in the Eisack Valley or into the Villnöss Valley
- Bressanone/Brixen is the starting point of the 366 km long Drau cycle path to Maribor in Slovenia
- Bressanone/Brixen lies on the 560 km long long-distance cycle path Munich-Venice
- The 700 km long Claudia Augusta long-distance cycle route from Donauwörth to Venice passes through Bolzano, which is 40 km away

Your bike is safe with us
For the safe storage of bicycles, bicycle racks are available in the locked garage of the Gerhart.
There is also the possibility to use our lockable boxes. The use is free of charge, but the boxes must be reserved in advance.
